MAN Engines: Hubert Gossner takes over the management of the Off-Road market segment
Responsibility for sales, application technology and service support
With effect from 1 October 2017, Hubert Gossner (42), who previously managed the Power market segment at MAN Engines, became head of the Off-Road market segment. As of now, his areas of responsibility therefore include sales, application technology and service support for engines for use in construction, agricultural and rail-based vehicles. He takes over from Jürgen Haberland, who, on 1 August, transferred to our American subsidiary, MAN Engines & Components, Inc., based in Pompano Beach, Florida, assuming the role of Head of Business Development Off-Road and Power with a view to further expanding our business in the Americas.
Gossner is already very familiar with the MAN Group, having worked at a number of different hierarchical levels during his years-long career. Having completed his vocational training as an industrial mechanic at MAN Renk, he commenced his engineering studies, with a particular focus on vehicle technology, at the Augsburg University of Applied Sciences. Gossner began his career in the engines business at MAN Truck & Bus AG as an applications engineer for the On-Road market segment. He went on to become head of technical sales support and application technology in the On-Road market segment, before assuming full responsibility for the Power market segment. Gossner will continue to report to Reiner Rössner, Head of Sales for MAN Engines.
